My cartridge is a Denon DL-110. What a musical machine it is! I've had my Linn Basik w/Akito tonearm for a month now, and I finally know what it means to have a. Linn Basik Lv V Tonearm Manual. Hi Like all Linn. Alkaline Feel So Lonely Mp3 Download here. Its a very good turntable that benefits a huge amount from being used on top of a very stable platform, maybe a slab of granite or something. The Akito is a very good arm, if it comes with a K9 burn it and buy a Denon dl-110, you'll have a set up.
Hi, my first post in this tt section.Been contemplating for some time about this idea. I've eventually managed to install the Linn arm on this deck. Same mounting but had to laser cut the plinth to make clearance for the longer vertical pillar, and custom arm cable dressing to ensure free movement of suspension. The resulting sound with the same Ortofon KA cart compared to the Pro-ject arm.fantastic! Gone is the slightly muddled mid and less than controlled mid bass replaced with an evenly balanced sound, tuneful but deep bass and clear airy highs.Wonder what it would sound with the Ittok but that's mounted on my Lp12 so it will never happen.Maybe next mod would be DC motor.CheersJames. Hi guys,MERRY CHRISTMASThe solid metal spiked feet comes with the deck, located using brass cones that came with my old Mission speakers. This deck is sprung subchasis and some adjustment need to be made with the springs as the Linn arm is way heavier than the Pro-ject arm.
For levelling Ad even bounce.Yes indeed Pro-ject tts are easy to mod.Further ideas:1. Suede leather mat2. Sorbothane damping to sub platter3.
Ditto to motor housing4. Rubber paint to deaden springs5: When I can afford it, D.C motor eventually.Yes Pro-ject uses Linn arm mounting but they make it hard to mount them as Linn arm and cable need lotsa space underneath. I have never been impressed with the quality of Pro-jects own arms, the build quality and finish of Linn and Rega arms are superb by comparison. My 9C had bearing problems after a few years use.The Akito is superb, I'm looking for one too, the mk ll.
Hi guysI sold my Linn Sondek and kept the Ittok ll arm. Both deck and arm were bought new in 1984.So recently I mounted the Ittok on the Perspective using the Ortofon Kontrapunkt A cart. Also added a cork mat to the platter.I was meticulous in setting it all up but once done I can't be happier. The sound?fantabulous!
I like it better than tue Sondek. It confirms my suspicion that the Perspective is a well sorted out deck from the onset.just hungry for a very good arm.

Now maybe I'd go for the latest Pro-ject's own psu too. Will post pics soonest.Cheers.
