It really looks good in the demo videos. I almost bought the program and I am glad I didn't now.I want to learn to make my own trading EA's and I want to find something that will enable me to make them without a huge learning curve. If there is something out there that will make it easier for me to make EA's that's what I want.

What product did you end up buying that you are happy with? IgnoredI switched to Molanis, but I've also taken a look at EATree and FXDreema. I like them both, but I've spent most of my allowable time between VTS and Molanis.I've got about five (5) functioning EAs going with Molanis right now - all going through their various optimization stages. I also have three (3) more at different stages of development.

After getting up to speed with the tool, it was really easy to do. However, if you need to build complex EAs, then you are going to have to get into 'some' MQL - there's just no way around it. These Visual EA builders won't carry you all the way there.

But, its been fun and very frustrating at the same time, getting up to speed on the MQL basics. Hi, this David Williams from iExpertAdvisor. I created the EA Builder Visual Traders Studio. As you can see from the date of this reply, I don't follow forums much, but since I saw this post, I felt I should reply.I wish I could have worked closer with iDouble before he/she became so frustrated. I've made many improvements to the builder over the years.I'm trying very hard not to promote anything as I'm sure the admin of the forum would not approve. I just want to defend my company be saying that we offer a full guarantee, no questions asked. I hope that iDouble requested a refund. Hi M.A.C.Doug, this David from iExpertAdvisor. If you are not using indicators, you are probably using price values?

In MQL they are available as Keywords: Ask, Bid, Open0, Close0, High0, Low0. The brackets indicate what bar (or candle) you get the price value for - where 0 is the currently forming bar, 1 is the bar to the left, and so. A little confusing, but once you understand, it's amazing what logic you can define with just those values (for example, pretty much any candle stick pattern). If you still have your VTS demo, you can drag these price values from the toolbox - and then you can view the MQL that's generated - this really helps if you are trying to learn MQL. To view the MQL for any element, click the (i) button. Also you can view the generated MQL in the MetaEditor. I definitely recommend learning MQL if you are at all interested. I purchased an MQL course from Steve Fleming a couple of years ago but after scanning through the ten lesson course it was clear I was not going to be able to program anything close to what I need. I recently started looking at visual based software but as soon as they start talking about programming a moving average crossover and all the indicators available to generate signals I just move on. I just have to be sure I can make it work before I waste more time and money.

Visual Trader Studio Crack

I havent downloaded the demo as yet cause Im using Mac iOS which is not ideal for mt4 at the best of times. I was thinking that the editor may also work better on pc. Any more thoughts or advice you have would be much appreciated to feel free to share anything at all you think may be of value.

The Visual Traders Studio Expert Advisor Builder is the result of years of development, honed by consistently applying the feedback we receive from our clients in over 90 countries worldwide. VTS is a better product because our clients are active traders and they help us deliver the most useful and flexible EA Builder on the market.

I think the MetaEditor, and actually all parts of the MetaTrader platform, will work better on Windows than iOS. I know MT supports mac, but it seems like MT was developed on Windows and with Windows in mind.I think it's wise to consider the time spent - it's not just money that can be wasted. If programming is not for you, I think you should evaluate a handful of the visual builders and see if they 'click'. Although I've tried to make VTS intuitive, I've also tried to make it powerful. The two don't always mix (power::ease of use) but, hey, that's my challenge, and I enjoy working on moving that line.So try a few EA builders out and see if they make sense.

I think you'll know within a day or so if you can work with one of them. If you don't want to learn MQL or use an EA Builder, then you don't have much of a choice but to find a programmer. There are a couple of problems with using a programmer. The first problem is communication. Even among people that speak the same native language (rare on the internet) it can be difficult for a trader to describe exactly what they want - regardless of how long the specification is or how many words and pictures it contains. The second problem is 'ongoing modifications'. In my experience as a contract programmer for over 20 years, I've found that people usually don't know what they want until they see it. This is not a short-coming, or even a bad thing, it's just the way it is.As a matter of fact, thinking about the 100's of projects I've worked on over the years, I don't recall even once when we did not make tweaks based upon the outcome of the first release. So after seeing this for years, I accept 'iteration' as the normal software development process. There are other problems with using a programmer that others have pointed out, such as cost and 'trust ability', but communication and the need for iteration are the ones that seem to be the most challenging. So if you are determined to trade and don't want to stare at charts all day, what can you do?One suggestion is to semi-automate your strategy. For example, create an EA to send an email or generate an alert when your first trade signal appears. If the signal is not too complex, for example a new price high, or a simple cross-over, then you should be able to do this pretty easily with an EA builder, or even in MQL.In this case, you don't have to be bothered with creating (and testing) the logic for opening and closing a trade.

You are just raising an alert so you don't have to start at the screen all day.One good outcome of this technique is that you'll likely be encouraged to add more criteria (read: complexity) to your alert system as you go along. It probably will not be overwhelming because you'll add to it slowly - as it makes sense to you.Remember, a little bit of MQL can go a long way. If you get comfortable with just a few functions and techniques, you may be able to take care of your own programming needs. And that's the best situation to be in, if you ask me.I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, but I created a free MQL course a long time ago. If the moderator needs to remove the link, you can find it by googling 'iExpertAdvisor MQL Course'.Here is the link:Also, I added a plug-in called 'MQL Mentor' to my EA Builder.

It allows you to view the MQL code for anything you've dragged and dropped - you are able to view just that code, not the code for the whole EA. (You can also view the code for the whole EA in the editor). This really helps when you are learning because you can see the correct syntax. Your welcome MACDoug.Believe me, I understand about not having time. Please keep me posted when you do start. One thing that may help, when you start: try doing something simple, but cool.I helped one trader create a really simple EA that watched a trendline (this trader liked to draw trendlines every Sunday night), and the EA would send a notification to his smartphone if the trendline was broken. Simple, but cool. (Here is a link for setting up SendNotifications in MT if you are interested: )Coolness definitely helps with motivationYou can trial VTS anytime, so don't feel hurried.

This week it came to my attention that one of the easiest ways for my subscribers to sell Forex trading products here on the site would be to point them in the right direction first. Commonsense right?Well, there are infinite ways to create a currency trading system, and the main challenges are twofold:. Making your system profitable over the long term.

Being able to effectively test your systemHow to create a reliable system? To do the above manually can take years to get just one system perfect. Because of this overhead it leaves most traders hedging their bets by using a combination of proven signals along with their own “reading the market” intuition. The end result, they hope, is a system that will perform profitably when they trade it; versus a system they are positive will be profitable when traded. So, how to can they (and you) get around this conundrum and make a profitable system over the long term without taking years to manually test it? Well, the answer lies with automated trading and this article focuses on building your own in particular Without the need to know any coding. Why EA builders are the answerNot only do EA’s allow you to rapidly test any system you have designed or purchased they also allow you to trade it automatically, freeing you up from checking charts and monitoring or managing trades. FREE COURSE:And here’s some more detail (my views only) to help you make a decision as to which EA builder might be right for you: EA ConstructorUnfortunately there is limited information about how the EA Constructor actually works.

I found the above screenshot after a 5 minute Google search as there didn’t seem to be anything on their site.FX Builder’s EA Constructor takes a different approach than most other EA builders out there. Their primary focus is on creating you profitable EA’s rather than just EA’s themselves.Staying true to this approach they are willing to place any profitable EA’s their customers create (using their EA Constructor I presume) in their online store, alongside the EA Constructor and another EA they sell on the site (Forex Spectre).EA Constructor also comes with 6 EA’s, of which each includes real live “verified” account proof you can view on the site Well sort of. Let’s just say two thirds of the account proof is real and one EA shows demo account proof only. At first glance it looks like one or two of the strategies use some sort of martingale approach where draw downs get scarily close to 100%. That said, the Pro EA looks solid and has 318% in returns at the time of writing. They also offer a Client Account Management service you can join.box type=”info” My view: The end results look great But at least show me how the product works./box EA CreatorThe first thing to do on this site is to ignore the sales video on the homepage, it’ll tell you absolutely nothing about the product and possibly have you sitting in a hypnotic trance for the next 30 minutes. What you do want to watch instead are the Video Tutorials, found in the left navigation.

Note, if you’re on Chrome you’ll have to delve into the source code to pluck out the YouTube links not very helpful from the site creator and possibly a sign of what’s to come.Upon watching the video’s you’ll see how this EA builder operates and with an old fashioned web interface it’s functional and clunky to say the least. If you’re looking for the price and a place to subscribe you’ll need to register first. It looks like there was a demo option available in the past but this is no longer. And, lastly, the dating website banner ads on several pages are also quite bemusing and leave me wondering if I can trust in this organisation or its product.box type=”info” My view:The owner has let the site go, so you can only imagine where the product is at./box EA GeneratorFrom BJF Trading Group the EA Generator is more than just your typical EA builder it uses Neural Networks or Machine Learning to create EA’s.How does it do this? Well, you load the software into your MT4 – just as you would a standard EA or indicator. You then start placing trades or marking trades you would take on the chart with the provided buy and sell arrows.

The software sees these signals, learns how you place them by analysing candle patterns and builds up knowledge over time until it can place the same trades you would place. It basically builds a system/algorithm and creates an EA based on your intuition or chart reading abilities. FREE COURSE:ForexEAdvisorA simple yet effective form based online EA builder. If you have a simple system or quickly want to see what it takes to build an EA then this free online EA builder could be your answer.Ironically it’s quite intuitive; you create both open and close, buy and sell logic. There is, however, a rather short documentation page that includes a video walk through.Where you’ll come unstuck with this tool is when you use it for a more complex system. The constant reloading of the page and the eventual length of each page may result in a frustrating experience. The other benefit of ForexEAdvisor is that it allows you to share your EA with others who visit the site. That said, it seems to be limited to the last 50 so there is no telling if there is any substance behind these EA’s.box type=”info” My view: An easy starting point if you want to see what it takes to build an EA, but if you’re after anything other than a simple system you should invest your time elsewhere./boxOne of the best GUI’s I’ve seen, and I’m only looking at the online version. The fact that it breaks up rules into System, Custom and Patterns means you can really spell out your system on the GUI.

I was particularly impressed with how they handled the candle pattern creation. You basically put the candles in the pattern you want, so you can see them on the screen, which makes it ultra easy to work with instead of trying to visualize the candles in your head and working only with data.Along with its ultra easy GUI, it also has an extensive knowledge base you can call upon for help with all sorts of trading situations, e.g. FREE COURSE:Well, I hope you like this through overview of all the major EA builders on the market.

From here I’m going to suggest two things:. Check out my next post (it’s not ready yet so you’ll have to subscribe to my newsletter below) where I’ll take one of the above EA builders for a spin and walk you through how you can use it to create a product you can use yourself or sell here in our.

Visual Trader Studio

Download an EA builder with a free trial, spend some time learning how to use it and have a go at creating your first EA using all the knowledge you have built up to date. And finally, if you have any questions or feedback feel free to post a reply below. Author Posted on Categories. Hello there, the admin of fxDreema here. I know this is an old topic, but I just saw it and what if I write here something 🙂I want to first say Thank you for making this review and also that I dumped the tool that created candlestick patterns. No one even complained, it wasn’t something that people used.

It’s just better to use some indicator for this situation. And by the way there is money back guarantee. If someone for some reason does not like it, it’s enough to just write to me and everything will be refunded. This actually happened 2 or 3 times before. But fxDreema can be used for free as well (with the limit of few connections), so no one is forced to pay anything. From all the EA builders I have ever seen, I like how Trading Studio looks the most. I never really used it, but it just looks friendly to me. Hi fxDreema,Thanks for touching base and the update on your features. I’ve updated the table and content.Yes, this is a fairly old post and the last I’ll do here on CamForex.com.

You can now find me at.Just to inform everyone where I ended up with regard to EA builders. I’m now a 9 month veteran of fxDreema (ironic that you, the creator, have posted a comment here – and we’ve actually chatted before in the forum where you have helped me out now and again “Thanks!”).I must say, it is a tool that I am really enjoying and think that anyone who’s looking for a tool should consider as I went from not being able to create an EA to building a highly complex one in the space of a few months. Thanks Mr fxDreema you are doing a grand job!Comments are closed.
