Finale 2014 Mac Osx
I just upgraded my macbook pro to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I was using Finale 2012. The error code 'To open Finale 2012 you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. Click 'More Info.'
Apple has just released OS X 10.11.6. This new version of the Mac El Capitan operating system, previous versions are not. Nothing came up with the link, but after some digging around I found Java 8 and installed it. By checking with the Make Music site, it looks like there may be some problems running 2012 with yosemite, so I downloaded the trial version of 2014.
