With the imminent arrival of Wasteland 2, hopefully you can get at least one more Fallout 2 round in.Will there be more RP releases? Well, you can only chisel away for so long, but there does seem to be some critter animations (Punk Girl, actual combat leather jacket animations, etc) being worked on and it would be a shame if they didn't find their way into the RP. And of course bug lists make me sad. But I will say this, if you've been waiting, don't wait anymore. It CAN be done. The problem is coding errors and the like.Megamod integrates alot of useful mods to be compatible with each other, and a few that are from lost content, but doesnt bring back everything that is missing from the Fallout dropped content like RP does. This is where the roads ultimately split.All in All? It was very fun! Id recommend this mod.

Despite how much there is to do in Fallout 2, parts of the game always felt incomplete or rushed. The purpose of this mod is to fill these gaps and make Fallout 2 into the game it was meant to be. This project attempts to stay true to what made Fallout 2 great and thus the new content you will find is not something I thought up or felt would be cool to include, but rather a reality of what the original Black Isle developers wanted. I read through developer comments, studied original design documents, and looked through nearly every file included in the game in the process of creating this mod. I admit I had to make some judgment calls here and there, but 90% of what you will see is something originally planned to be included in the game but was cut for whatever reason. Not only does this mod include new content, but it also includes my unofficial Fallout 2 patch which corrects 800+ bugs left in the game after the last official patch. I hope you enjoy this mod.

The purpose of this mod is to add back into the game all the content that was originally planned by the Fallout 2 devs. You will find about 6 new locations (some quite large, other smaller) as well as a few new areas to old locations. In addition, almost every town in the game has new content whether it is new characters, quests, or items. Playing this will definitely be a new experience.

Quite a refreshing way to play through a game a second time.Great job guys.Now, when a bug/cheat page is started for it, I have one that I ran across while going through one of the added areas.In the Village above Vault City, after you kill all of the Mole Rats, you speak to a man who 'scolds' you for 'Saving' the town from the Rats.During the Dialogue you find out that the rats were actually protecting the people and the village from Vault City.During the dialogue use these dialogue options in this order to get unlimited $10,000 over and over again for an unlimited amount of $$$$$.' I needed the money'I didn't know why this is why they wanted the job done.'
